Christmas Letter

2011 Christmas Letter
                        Hi friends and family,

This has been a great year for our family. In January and February we had the pleasure to serve Great-Grandma Mae,  Will's Grandma. It was nice to be able to help  with her finances. We go every month for a visit. Also last spring we lost our sweet hamster Sophie. We all loved her and were happy to see her be out of pain. BUT we got an adorable little male hamster named, Jack! This year Will turned 53, Linda turned 55, and Emily turned 16. Then in March Emily had the pleasure to meet Sister Mary N. Cook. She is in our church's General Young Women's presidency. Emily was excited to meet her and she enjoyed it! This summer we were able to meet with Emily's other World Language club members. She was in the presidency of the club Freshman and Sophomore years. Emily enjoyed helping and creating slides for the club.  This year we, (Linda and Emily), re-did our entire yard's landscaping.  It was lots of work but it looks great! For our family vacation this year we went to the Oregon Coast. We had lots of fun, and of course we LOVED our Tillamook ice cream cones. In August Linda and Will celebrated 23 years of marriage. Also this summer Emily passed driver's ED and will get her license in the Spring.  In August and September Emily and Linda canned: Peaches, Pears, Apple Pie Filling, Blueberry pie filling, Dill and Sweet Pickles, and Green Beans. Emily and Linda got face book: www.facebook.com/emmyjoyjoy, and www.facebook.com/ac7ao. Feel free to add us! We have had a great 2011 and will have a great 2012!

Love,
Will, Linda, and Emily
